Year 6 had an unforgettable three-day residential trip to PGL at Boreatton Park in Shropshire, packed with adventure, challenge and fun. From the moment they arrived, the children embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm and positivity, showing incredible determination to try new activities and push themselves beyond their comfort zones. We were immensely proud of the resilience they demonstrated, as well as the way they supported and encouraged one another throughout the trip.
There were many memorable moments, including the exciting raft-building challenge, where teamwork was put to the test and afterwards the children took great delight in soaking Mrs Horton in the lake! Other highlights included soaring through the air on the zip wire, conquering fears on the giant swing and working together to build shelters in the woods. Across all of the activities, the children showed fantastic cooperation, courage and independence, making the most of every experience. A big thank you to all of the staff who enabled the trip to happen. It was a wonderful opportunity for Year 6 to create lasting memories and develop skills that will stay with them long after the adventure ended.
