Year 1 enjoyed a wonderful visit to Leamington Spa as part of their topic, 'Why did elephants live in Leamington Spa?'. The day began at the Royal Pump Rooms, where the children crafted clay elephants and took a guided tour, learning about the building's history as a spa. With the sun shining, we had lunch in the beautiful Pump Room Gardens. Afterwards, we explored Leamington, discovering these key landmarks along the way:

  • The Three Graces
  • Queen Victoria Statue
  • Jephson Gardens
  • The Glasshouse
  • Mill Bridge
  • The Elephant Wash
  • All Saints Church

The children's engagement and behaviour for leaning was fantastic, as noted by several members of the public. We received some lovely feedback from the Duty Manager, who said "Your children were lovely, so well-mannered and a credit to the school and she would happily have you back at any time."
