On a cold, wet Saturday morning, 20 of our Year 5 and 6 pupils ran 1.3km at Edmonscote Track, after a last-minute venue change. With such a great turnout, we qualified for team results – an amazing achievement!

Special congratulations to our Year 5 girls, Poppy and Delilah, who finished 1st and 2nd in their very first cross country race. The Year 6 boys finished 1st overall, the Year 5 girls came 2nd overall, and the Year 5 boys placed 6th overall. 

A huge well done to everyone taking part for their effort, resilience, and sportsmanship. A special thanks to the children who gave up their football match to race, and to the parents and younger siblings for supporting and cheering on the team.
