On Saturday, 8th March, some of our Year 5 and 6 pupils were up bright and early to take on a challenging 1.4km cross-country race at Myton Fields. The energy and determination they showed were incredible—everyone gave it their all, pushing themselves to improve their technique and pace from the previous race. A huge congratulations and best of luck to Alfie O and Charlie S, who have qualified for the county team this coming weekend!
In the lead-up to the event, we’ve been training every Monday lunchtime, running around the village to build up our stamina and get race-ready. A big thank you to Susie Tawney, who helps run these sessions with her fantastic skills and dedication, making this opportunity possible for our Harbury children. We truly appreciate all the time and effort she puts in!
