Our final canvases are complete! Well done to all classes for all their artist efforts. We are really pleased with the results. This artwork is based on the Understanding Christianity Frieze by Artist Emma Yarlett. She has created a wall frieze to illustrate seven of the eight core concepts that are explored in the Understanding Christianity materials. Effectively, this presents a view of the ‘big story’ of the Bible – an artist’s response to the approach used. Her artwork is displayed in our entrance hall. We have studied other artists to give our own spin on the art. Thank you to Mrs Taylor and Miss Crees for all the planning and support.
