Coronation Celebration!

The whole school came together to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III this week.  Dressed in red, white and blue, the children enjoyed a picnic lunch together before welcoming parents onto the school field to present what they had been finding out about our new monarch. There were songs, recipes for the perfect coronation and Reception class delighted everyone with their “If I were king…” ideas.  The British weather meant the celebrations had to be hurriedly halted but everyone agreed it was an event ‘fit for a King’.
