Headteacher's Welcome

“Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”

1 John 3 18

It’s with great privilege that I write this headteacher’s greeting. I have received a wonderful welcome to Harbury from everyone - the staff, pupils, parents, families, governors and the wider community.  I am proud to now be joining you and look forward to welcoming you in turn to our school.

Dreams really can come true! From ‘playing teachers’ with my best friend aged 6 to now becoming headteacher at Harbury C of E Primary School, I really do believe that everyone can fulfil their potential and achieve their ambitions.  This is my intention for every child and adult at Harbury C of E Primary School.

As Jesus taught us in the Parable of the Sower, which is our school bible story, if a seed falls on nutritious soil and is given light and water it can flourish and reach its full potential.  At Harbury we are committed to a rich and diverse education where every child can flourish and blossom. We are the soil nurturing each seedling while providing deep roots into Jesus’ love and teachings.

Our village is a thriving place and the school has strong links to the community especially to All Saints Church.  I have been so overwhelmed with the warmth and joy of everyone I have met.  A special thank you to our marvellous PTA, who are incredibly active and organise such wonderful events throughout the school year. This fundraising goes directly back into school to improve learning opportunities for all.

Our talented team have high expectations for all of our pupils and we strive to provide the very best education for all. We work closely together with our dedicated Governing Board, who provide clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction.

Welcome to our school, part of The Arden Forest Mat, where we love, learn and grow together. We’d be delighted to show you around.

Mrs Lucy Bosley

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
