To love, learn and grow together
Our Spring Term has begun, whether we are home learning or in school, with a new topic titled 'On Top of the World'. As you might imagine, this topic centres on mountains. We will be learning about key mountains across the world, focussing on the geography and how they were formed. We are also learning about the history of famous mountain climbers through the ages, including the historic first climb of Mount Everest. Towards the end of the topic, we will learn more about polar exploration too.
In Art, we will be looking at Tibetan prayer flags, as well as attempting to make our own. Our computing topic this term is centred on Scratch, where we are learning how to animate and create sequences using variables. Our Science learning is all about light this term.
