To love, learn and grow together
Our new topic is called
This topic has its roots firmly in the natural world and we will be exploring the wonderful world of the riverbank. Our English lessons will be based around the book from which the topic gets its name, ‘The Wind in the Willows’. In maths, we will look at consolidating and extending our knowledge of multiplication and division before moving on to look at time problems. In science, the children will be learning about plants which links closely with their nature-based topic. Impressionism is the focus of our art sessions, whilst in RE we will be looking at why the Bible is so important for Christians today. Already the children have been producing some excellent outcomes both in school and at home. There have been some amazing rover models and lots of very informative non-chronological reports about the riverbank animals.
