In History, we will be taking on the role of detectives and will try to uncover what event happened during 1666 using a range of historical artefacts. We will also learn about some significant people who lived during this time period, including; Sir Christopher Wren, Samuel Pepys and King Charles II.
In DT, we will be researching the different types of bridge structures that we see around us today, and will plan and design our own bridges. We will then test out their strengths againt water and fire!
We will be using the texts, ‘The Great Fire of London’ by Emma Adams, and ‘A Walk in London’ by Salvatore Rubbino as inspiration for our writing. Our class novel is, 'The Owl who was Afriad of the Dark'- Miss Kavanagh's favourite!
